Economix Workshop is the online competition where each team (comprised of a single student) represents an hotel management competing against the others in the marketplace.
The competition consists of four decision-making rounds, each corresponding to one virtual year. For each round, you and need to analyze the global market scenarios, plan a competitive strategy, decide on sales, operations and finace.
The aim is to maximize the value of your Company represented by the share value.
To be successful you will need to put in place the best of your business management acumen and strategic skills! You will be able to monitor your ranking against your competitors at each moment during the game. At the end the final ranking will tell who has been the most capable management team.
The 120 top ranked will be invited, by Universitą Bocconi, in Milan to take part in a five-day international event full of lectures by distinguished speakers, workshops, company visits and cultural activities.
The pre registration for the on line competition will be available from 12 October to 16 November, 2007.
The online competition will run from October 30 to November 29, 2007,
Workshop will take place from February 11 to 15, 2008.
